FAQs

  • We are a private-pay practice but can provide detailed invoices for out-of-network reimbursement.

  • Yes! We provide therapy in English and Spanish for children from bilingual households.

  • Yes! We provide secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual therapy sessions for families who prefer or require online services.

  • We work with toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children up to age 6.

  • Yes — and this is exactly who we're here for. Speech, sensory processing, and feeding are deeply connected. A child who is overwhelmed by sounds, textures, or transitions often struggles to communicate because their nervous system is already working overtime. At Echo Bay Therapy, we don't separate these challenges. We use a sensory-informed, neuroaffirming approach that addresses regulation and communication together — so your child can actually use the skills we work on in real life.

  • No — and this is one of the most common myths we hear. Research consistently shows that bilingualism does not cause speech delays. Bilingual children may reach certain milestones at slightly different rates in each language, but their total language knowledge across both languages is comparable to monolingual peers. At Echo Bay Therapy, we celebrate bilingualism as a strength. Our therapy is designed to support your child's development in both English and Spanish, so they can communicate confidently in the language of their home, their school, and their community.
